The Red Sands of Hattah is a true, but almost unbelievable story of how the National Parks and Wildlife Service allowed the mass slaughter of kangaroos in Hattah-Kulkyne National Park. I hope it is written in an easy to read, hopefully entertaining genre of a fictional novel.
However, you can take the teacher out of the classroom but you can’t take the classroom out of the teacher. I simply could not help myself from finishing the book with a separate case study. Typically, the postscript below is written in my didactic style.
I hope the information provided in this postscript will arm ‘protectors of wildlife’ with what they need when faced with people trying to justify the mass slaughter of kangaroos for profit.
